Head of Operations

About the role

The Bank is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and transform its end‑to‑end operations function. This senior leadership position will drive operational excellence, strengthen governance, and advance the bank’s digitisation and innovation agenda across multiple operational domains.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all operational areas, including Branch, Account Services, Centralised, Trade, Alternate Delivery Channels and Treasury Operations.
• Drive process optimisation, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Champion operational innovation by designing and implementing next‑generation banking processes and digital solutions.
• Strengthen operational risk management, governance frameworks and internal controls to protect assets and reputation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit standards and service‑delivery benchmarks are met.
• Collaborate with Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders to support growth and strategic priorities.
• Develop high‑performing teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of banking experience with senior leadership exposure in both branch and centralised operations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Proven track record in operational transformation, digitisation, innovation and process re‑engineering.
• Strong understanding of retail and corporate banking operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, decision‑making and team‑leadership abilities.
