HR Executive – Recruitment, Payroll & Employee Relations

About the role

The HR Executive will support a range of human‑resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of HR tasks. You will work closely with the HR team and department managers to drive recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for junior positions, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Conduct pre‑screening, shortlisting, reference checks and employment verification.
• Organise new‑employee orientations and collect required documentation.
• Assist with off‑boarding, including exit interviews and record updates.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, reflecting status changes, promotions and terminations.
• Generate regular HR reports such as recruitment status updates.
• Respond to employee inquiries on policies, benefits and related matters.
• Support employee‑engagement events and company‑wide communications.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Process end‑to‑end payroll for salaried and hourly staff, ensuring correct statutory deductions and tax calculations.
• Serve as the primary contact for compensation, deduction and tax queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in recruitment, payroll and employee relations within a mid‑size, regional or multinational organization.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of HR policies, employment law and compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS).
• Experience using payroll software and processing statutory deductions.
• Competency in recruitment tools and techniques.
