HR & Operations Trainee (3‑month traineeship)

About the role

Edversity is seeking a motivated HR & Operations Trainee to support the full employee lifecycle and day‑to‑day office operations. The role offers end‑to‑end exposure to both HR and operations, working directly with the Manager HR.

Key responsibilities

• Post job ads, screen CVs, schedule interviews and coordinate hiring processes.
• Prepare onboarding documents, conduct orientations and manage off‑boarding formalities.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS data and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Track attendance, leaves and overtime; compile payroll data and coordinate with Finance.
• Assist in drafting, updating and communicating HR policies and ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Plan employee engagement events and handle first‑level queries and grievances.
• Oversee office management, facilities, procurement, vendor coordination and asset handling.
• Manage petty cash, operational expenses and logistics for meetings and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Management Sciences or related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• 0–1 year of experience; HR or admin internships are a plus.
• Basic understanding of HR functions and Pakistani labour laws.
• Willingness to work fully on‑site, six days a week in Islamabad.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets.
