Import Export Specialist

About the role

Unitech International (Pvt.) Ltd., a Pakistani manufacturer and exporter of dairy cooling equipment, industrial refrigeration systems and HVAC solutions, is looking for a competent, detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage its import and export documentation and banking coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage Letter of Credit (LC) and Cash Against Documents (CAD) documentation, liaising with banks on incoming shipments, discrepancies, payments and shipment release
• Prepare export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bank NOCs/approvals and insurance documents, and coordinate with banks, freight forwarders and authorities
• Coordinate with customs clearing agents and freight forwarders, track shipments and resolve documentation issues before they delay deliveries
• Complete all documentation and banking formalities on time, follow up with stakeholders to avoid demurrage, detention charges and penalties, and keep accurate records and shipment status updates for management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import/export documentation and banking coordination
• Practical experience with LC and CAD transactions; sound knowledge of Pakistan's import/export banking procedures, customs documentation and shipping processes
• Familiarity with Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and WeBOC is an advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, own tasks and communicate professionally with banks, clearing agents and shipping partners
