In-Charge Units Reporting – Accounting Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead unit‑level reporting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment. The role oversees monthly accounts, closing activities, and cost analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage unit accounts, monthly financial statements and month‑end closing processes.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, capitalization and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Conduct product costing, overhead variance analysis and quarterly bill‑of‑materials reviews.
• Review payroll, utility (LESCO & SNGPL) bills and vendor/cash reconciliations.
• Lead a team of accountants, ensuring timely unit closing entries and resolution of operational issues.
• Prepare SAP‑based unit reporting and maintain finance/accounting process flows and policies.

Required profile

• MS Finance, MBA, CA Inter, ACCA, ACMA or B.Com qualification.
• 5‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing and steel costing.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive process improvements.

Required skills

• SAP B1 ERP (hands‑on experience preferred).
