Internal Audit Executive (NGO)

About the role

The Internal Audit Executive will strengthen the governance, risk management and control environment of an NGO operating in Pakistan. You will lead risk‑based audits, assess internal processes and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑based internal audits across financial, operational and compliance areas.
• Evaluate existing internal controls, identify gaps and propose process improvements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with clear, actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local NPO regulations, tax laws and internal policies.

Required profile

• Professional qualification: ACCA or CA Inter.
• 3–5 years of internal audit experience, preferably within the NGO sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and risk‑assessment frameworks.
• High integrity, excellent analytical, communication and reporting abilities.
