Internal Audit Senior

About the role

Jubilee Life Insurance Company Limited, a public limited company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, is hiring an Internal Audit Senior for its Karachi Division. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on planning and executing internal audit engagements, including risk-based reviews of financial and operational processes and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit engagements, including risk-based reviews of financial and operational processes and controls
• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports, identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements
• Perform financial audits and test compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze data and trends, and support the implementation of corrective actions
• Coordinate regularly with cross-functional teams and management to strengthen the internal control environment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field, with professional certification or part qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIA)
• Articles or ACCA training completed, preferably from a Big 4 firm, in the internal audit and advisory section
• Reasonable exposure to financial institutions, DFIs, NBFCs or RPIs is preferred
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing audit reports, with accurate, clear and actionable recommendations
• Solid understanding of finance and financial audits, including audit methodologies, internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Effective communication skills to present findings and work with stakeholders
• Proficiency with audit software, MS Excel and other audit or data analysis tools is beneficial
