Investigator/Inquiry Officer (OG–I)

About the role

The Investigator/Inquiry Officer (OG‑I) is responsible for conducting thorough investigations, inquiries, and fact‑finding assignments within banking and financial institutions. The role requires analyzing complaints, reviewing evidence, and delivering clear, actionable reports to support compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Examine complaints, references, and other assigned matters.
• Conduct inquiries, investigations, and fact‑finding assignments.
• Collect, review, and analyse relevant records and evidence.
• Prepare clear, structured, and timely investigation reports.
• Identify key issues, gaps, and root causes, and propose practical recommendations.
• Coordinate with relevant offices and officials throughout the inquiry process.
• Perform any other inquiry, investigation, inspection, or related assignment as directed by the Competent Authority.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banks, financial institutions, public sector organisations, audit firms, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of inquiry, investigation, complaint examination, fact‑finding, audit, inspection, and compliance review.
• Bachelor’s degree from an HEC‑recognised institute or university (national or international).
