IT Support Technician – Endpoint & Smart Hands

About the role

Avery Dennison is seeking an IT Support Technician to serve as the primary point of contact for endpoint computing and site infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on “smart‑hands” support with continuous improvement of technology processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, thin clients) throughout their lifecycle, including provisioning, refresh, asset tracking and decommissioning.
• Provide on‑call “smart‑hands” support on a rotating schedule, responding to incidents and problems in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Execute and document SOX controls related to IT assets and changes.
• Own issue tickets from reporting through resolution, ensuring timely communication with end users.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software and licenses using the Asset Management Tool.
• Install, upgrade and replace software and hardware per company standards.
• Collaborate with service vendors, internal IT teams and business units to ensure continuity of service.
• Deliver training and onboarding for Avery Dennison’s software and computer systems.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Relevant Information Technology courses or certifications (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology (preferred).

• ITIL change, incident and problem management.
• SOX compliance for IT processes.
• Endpoint device management and troubleshooting.
• Hardware and software installation and upgrade.
• Use of asset management tools for inventory control.
