Junior HR Business Partner – IR & Ops

About the role

Join BAT’s fast‑growing global business as a Junior HR Business Partner focused on Industrial Relations and Operations. Based in Jhelum, you will support talent management, employee engagement and compliance across the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead talent management processes such as performance reviews, succession planning, learning & development, workforce planning and employee relations.
• Roll out and coordinate employee engagement and organisational health surveys, ensuring timely execution and follow‑up on action plans.
• Partner with business leaders to implement HR strategies and build organisational capability.
• Assist the Industrial Relations Manager with labour‑law compliance, grievance resolution and maintaining positive employee relations.
• Maintain accurate employee records in SuccessFactors, update data and generate HR reports and analytics.
• Coordinate talent reviews, internal transfers and development initiatives with regional HR teams.
• Support HR budgeting and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in HRBP, talent management or industrial relations, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Jhelum and work onsite.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SuccessFactors or other ERP systems for HR data management and reporting.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
