Lead Full Stack Engineer (.NET + React.js) - Onsite Islamabad

About the role

Melior is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer (.NET + React.js) to design, develop and deliver scalable, high-performance full-stack applications. The role is onsite in Islamabad and remote work is not available. It calls for strong hands-on expertise, ownership of complex features and contribution to architectural decisions, with close collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has experience in AI-driven software development and uses approved AI tools such as Claude Code to speed up coding, testing, debugging, documentation and code optimisation, while complying with security, confidentiality and intellectual property policies. The lead also mentors engineers, conducts code reviews and enforces coding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture, design, development, testing and deployment of .NET Core applications, turning business needs into technical architecture
• Build secure, scalable .NET Web APIs and backend services, and responsive React.js frontends with Redux, Redux Toolkit or Context API
• Write clean, SOLID-compliant code and use approved AI tools responsibly, reviewing and validating AI-generated code
• Lead and mentor engineers, define coding standards and architectural patterns, and support CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams
• Ensure reliability through unit and integration testing, troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 5-7 years of software development experience focused on .NET technologies
• Proven experience leading a team or owning a technical workstream (a plus)
• Experience with spec-driven development, BMAD, AI agents and MCP servers, and critical review of AI-generated code
• Strong English communication and leadership skills
