Manager - Card Settlement (AVP)

About the role

A leading banking client in Pakistan is hiring an experienced Manager - Card Settlement (AVP) to oversee card transaction settlements, reconciliation, chargebacks and dispute resolution. The role sits within the Operations department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily card settlement and reconciliation operations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Oversee chargebacks, refunds, transaction disputes and financial adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor settlement performance, investigate discrepancies and prepare management reports.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve complex settlement issues and minimise operational risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in card settlement, reconciliation or banking operations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of card payment processing, settlement systems and dispute management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
