Manager, FATCA & CRS Reporting

About the role

The Manager – FATCA & CRS Reporting will ensure easypaisa complies with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The role provides regulatory advisory, oversees policy implementation, and guarantees accurate reporting to tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Unit Head and Advisory & CRM teams in maintaining the bank’s FATCA and CRS framework.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on policies, procedures, systems and controls.
• Identify, assess and mitigate FATCA/CRS compliance risks through governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in regulatory matters, audits, inspections and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.
• Provide ongoing advisory on FATCA/CRS requirements, embedding them into policies, SOPs and operational processes.
• Guide stakeholders on account classification, due‑diligence, self‑certifications and reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Operations and Business teams to implement due‑diligence and reporting requirements.
• Participate in governance forums, prepare reports for senior management and relevant committees.
• Ensure timely, accurate and complete FATCA/CRS reporting to tax authorities, validating data before submission.
• Maintain the bank’s FATCA registration and Global Intermediary Identification Number.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of FATCA, CRS and related tax‑transparency regimes.
• Experience in compliance risk assessment and mitigation within a banking environment.
• Ability to interpret regulatory changes and translate them into operational actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills.
• Proven track record of preparing accurate regulatory reports.
