Manager - Technology & Cyber Risk Advisory (TCRA)

About the role

Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants is seeking a Manager for its Technology and Cyber Risk Advisory (TCRA) practice in Karachi. The role leads comprehensive IT audit and advisory engagements, helping clients strengthen risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end IT audit and advisory projects, from planning through execution, reporting and client communication.
• Assess IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity measures, cloud environments and emerging technologies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve client risk posture and internal controls.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, NIST and COBIT.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development activities.
• Manage, coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals for new ventures or collaborations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT audit, advisory, cyber security or related areas, preferably with a Big 4 or consulting background.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are highly preferred.

Required skills

• IT general controls (ITGC) and application controls assessment.
• Cybersecurity and cloud security expertise.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, NIST and COBIT frameworks.
• Professional certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
