Multi-Vendor Microwave Planning & Implementation Engineer

About the role

Huawei is seeking experienced engineers to lead multi‑vendor microwave planning and implementation projects across Pakistan. The role involves end‑to‑end design, deployment, and optimisation of Huawei, NEC and Ericsson transmission networks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complete microwave network planning and design, including path surveys, link budget calculations, path profile analysis and frequency planning for Huawei, NEC and Ericsson systems.
• Prepare high‑level and low‑level designs, BOQs and technical documentation, and execute implementation, integration, commissioning and acceptance activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot microwave equipment, Ethernet services, QoS, synchronization and DCN connectivity, and support network migration, upgrades and expansion.
• Coordinate with customers, project managers, implementation teams and field engineers to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of hands‑on experience with Huawei, NEC iPASOLINK and/or Ericsson MINI‑LINK microwave products.
• Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, SDH, synchronization, QoS and DCN concepts.
• Experience using microwave planning tools such as Pathloss, MapInfo or iRiver.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings, network diagrams and implementation documents.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, with willingness to travel across Pakistan.
