Odoo Functional Consultant / Project Lead

About the role

Helionex, a technology and outsourcing partner focused on Odoo and MS Dynamics 365, is looking for an experienced Odoo Consultant / Project Lead to join its ERP team. You will own end-to-end Odoo implementations for international clients, particularly in the US, Canada, GCC and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Odoo projects from discovery and implementation through go-live and post-implementation support, including scope, timelines, budgets, risks and change requests.
• Maintain project backlogs and estimates in JIRA, ClickUp or similar tools, review team hours and prepare monthly project and billing reports.
• Plan go-live strategies, rollouts and implementation readiness, and manage multiple client priorities.
• Run client workshops and interviews, gather requirements, map current and future-state processes and turn them into Odoo configurations and workflows.
• Configure and customize Odoo modules using Odoo Studio and reporting tools, and work with technical teams on integrations, customizations and data migration.
• Act as the main functional contact for clients, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide post-implementation support and adoption help.
• Support data migration, user training, functional documentation, UAT and issue resolution, and suggest workflow improvements and AI automation tools.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Odoo or a comparable ERP in a consulting, functional or delivery role; Odoo certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing complex Odoo implementations and post-implementation support.
• Experience with international clients, especially in the GCC, US, Canada and/or Europe.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or client priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Required skills

• Core Odoo modules, data migration, integrations, reporting, Odoo Studio and customization.
• Business analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow analysis and solution design.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills with advanced written and spoken English.
