Online IGCSE, AS Level & A Level Finance Tutor

About the role

Tutoronics is an online tutoring platform that connects students with qualified tutors for personalised academic support. It is looking for Finance tutors to teach students following international curricula, including IGCSE, AS Level and A Level, on a telecommute basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive online Finance lessons.
• Explain financial concepts, principles and calculations clearly using practical examples.
• Teach topics such as financial statements, budgeting, cash flow management, investment appraisal, sources of finance, financial planning and financial analysis according to the assigned curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice questions, revision materials and past-paper exercises aligned with the relevant exam board.
• Help students develop analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, and support them with exam preparation.
• Assess student progress, give constructive feedback and adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
• Conduct online classes using Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards and screen-sharing tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of online tutoring experience.
• Experience teaching IGCSE, AS Level and/or A Level students.
• Familiarity with international curricula and exam boards such as Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel.
• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field is preferred.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for online teaching.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in Finance and related concepts.
• Excellent English communication and explanation skills.
• Proficiency in online teaching tools: Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards and screen sharing.
