Payroll Executive

About the role

Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad, a luxury Accor property in the heart of Pakistan's capital, is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Executive. The role manages payroll operations, ensures accurate and timely salary processing, keeps payroll records accurate and complies with company policies and labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
• Verify attendance, overtime, leave records and other payroll-related information.
• Calculate salaries, tax, allowances, deductions, overtime and final settlements.
• Handle new joiners, resignations and salary adjustments.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records and salary information.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate processing.
• Prepare payroll reports, salary summaries and related documentation.
• Handle employee queries about salaries, deductions and other payroll matters.
• Protect the confidentiality of employee payroll data and assist with payroll audits.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and payroll procedures.
• Support end-of-service benefits and final settlements where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing or payroll administration.
• Knowledge of payroll procedures, salary calculations and statutory requirements.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with payroll management systems.
