Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Manager will lead all manufacturing activities, ensuring that production targets are met on time while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with procurement, quality assurance, and maintenance to keep operations smooth and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise daily production activities to achieve company goals.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Implement quality control measures and collaborate with procurement and QA teams.
• Work with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 20 production staff.
• Prepare and present performance reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in production planning, lean manufacturing and cost management.
• Proven ability to supervise a team of around 20 people.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and capacity to make decisions under pressure.
• Solid understanding of production systems and ERP software.
