Project Finance Controller – Islamabad

About the role

Huawei Pakistan is seeking a Project Finance Controller to lead end‑to‑end financial management for its projects in Islamabad. The role combines financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance to ensure projects are delivered cost‑effectively and align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage all financial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance and deliver effective financial solutions.
• Analyse financial data to support contract signing and cost‑efficient delivery.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Perform detailed budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain internal controls at the project level to guarantee data accuracy.

Required profile

• Master’s degree, postgraduate diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in project finance, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to develop actionable financial plans and corrective measures.
• Innovative thinking and a “think outside the box” attitude.
