Project Manager

About the role

VentureDive is seeking a Project Manager who can lead complex, multi‑team software deliveries. The ideal candidate blends engineering insight with product ownership instincts and leverages AI tools to streamline planning, risk analysis, and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of one or more software engagements, managing scope, timeline, budget, quality, and stakeholder outcomes.
• Act as product owner when needed: refine backlogs, sharpen user stories, set acceptance criteria, and prioritize work.
• Translate business goals into technical execution plans, defining milestones, dependencies, integration points, environments, and release strategies.
• Run Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) that keep work moving forward.
• Use AI tools for project charter drafting, work‑breakdown structures, effort estimation, PRD creation, status reporting, documentation, and resource planning.
• Engage with engineering teams to review architectural trade‑offs, assess scalability, integration, data concerns, and technical debt.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and drive resolution across design, QA, DevOps, and client teams.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with the ability to understand system design and ask critical engineering questions.
• Product‑oriented mindset capable of refining requirements into actionable user stories.
• Proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary software projects using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to manage expectations of diverse stakeholder groups.
• Comfortable defining AI governance guardrails and ensuring compliance with data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR.
