QA Tester – IVR for Banking Applications

About the role

Systems Limited seeks an experienced QA Tester specialized in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) to ensure the quality of banking IVR applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and end‑users throughout the software development lifecycle to validate call flows, business logic, and integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements for IVR call flows.
• Create detailed test scenarios, test cases and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression and IVR‑specific testing.
• Validate APIs/Web Services and perform basic SQL queries for data verification.
• Document, track and verify resolution of defects.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business users.
• Maintain test documentation, defect reports and testing metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by reporting blockers and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 4+ years of overall experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• 2+ years of hands‑on QA/testing experience, with a focus on IVR.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Required skills

• IVR testing (preferably Avaya IVR).
• Functional, integration and regression testing.
• API/Web Services testing.
• SQL query execution (SQL Server).
• Azure DevOps for test and project tracking.
• Understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
