Quality Control Manager - Pharma Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Control Manager will develop, implement and maintain testing procedures and SOPs for quality control sampling and testing in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role oversees laboratory instrument calibration, investigates quality deviations and coordinates internal and external audits while reporting key metrics to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control department, supervising a team of 5 personnel.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for testing of raw materials, in‑process samples and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and ISO 9001 standards across all QC operations.
• Oversee calibration, validation and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Investigate quality deviations, OOS results and complaints, driving root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare required quality documentation.
• Monitor supplier and raw material quality and support vendor qualification.
