Relationship Manager - Retail Banking

About the role

Raqami Bank is looking for a customer-focused banking professional to acquire, manage and deepen relationships with high-value retail customers, affluent individuals, salaried professionals and liability-focused segments. The role drives deposit growth, increases customer balances, expands product adoption and delivers a consultative relationship management approach.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new liability customers and grow the bank's deposit portfolio
• Manage and deepen relationships with assigned retail and affluent customer portfolios
• Achieve CASA, term deposit and funded customer acquisition targets
• Identify customer needs and recommend banking products, cross-selling cards, wealth solutions, remittances and digital banking
• Grow customer balances through proactive engagement and regular portfolio reviews
• Identify opportunities to acquire payroll customers, professionals and high-net-worth individuals
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, relationship reviews and portfolio discussions
• Resolve customer queries, complaints and service requests promptly
• Work with Product, Performance & Growth, Distribution and Customer Experience teams
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis, and support liability campaigns and promotions
• Prepare portfolio reviews, sales pipelines, management reports and performance updates
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, SBP regulations and internal governance

Required profile

• 4-7 years of banking experience in liability sales, relationship management, retail banking, priority banking, wealth banking or deposit mobilization
• Strong preference for branch banking experience and a proven track record in liability sales
• Demonstrated experience in customer acquisition, deposit growth and portfolio management
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing or a related field
