Research Manager – Lead Equity Research & Insights

About the role

The Research Manager will shape and execute the Research Department’s strategic work plan, ensuring that all research outputs directly support PACRA’s objectives and long‑term vision. This senior role leads equity research, sectoral coverage, and the production of high‑quality, data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop quarterly, semi‑annual and annual work plans for the Research Department, covering sectoral studies, dashboards and external assignments.
• Provide strategic direction to align all research activities with PACRA’s objectives and long‑term vision.
• Lead equity research functions by developing sectoral and company coverage and ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality research.
• Review and approve sectoral reports, economic analyses, thematic studies, dashboards and proposals for existing and potential external projects.
• Prepare key reports such as Event Insights, Budget Commentary, sectoral updates and dashboards.
• Monitor and analyse industry and macro‑economic trends to keep PACRA’s strategies aligned with the evolving market landscape.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Research & Insights team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, excellence and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to leverage shared knowledge and strengthen PACRA’s market positioning.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and align research initiatives with organisational goals.
• Experience leading and mentoring research teams, promoting analytical rigor and professional development.
• Strong understanding of equity research, sectoral analysis and macro‑economic trends.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality, data‑driven research reports and dashboards.
