Retail Inventory Manager

About the role

The Retail Inventory Manager will lead inventory planning, replenishment, forecasting and reporting across our retail network, ensuring the right products are in the right stores at the right time while keeping stock levels healthy and minimizing excess.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inventory planning and replenishment across the retail network, setting min/max levels and allocating stock for new launches, promotions and seasonal demand.
• Prepare monthly and seasonal demand forecasts, monitor forecast accuracy and adjust purchase plans in collaboration with procurement.
• Analyse fast‑moving, slow‑moving and dead stock, recommend transfers, redistribution or liquidation to optimise inventory investment and reduce holding costs.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly inventory and retail performance reports, track KPIs such as stock availability, turnover and sell‑through, and maintain executive dashboards.
• Own ERP/POS inventory processes: ensure data accuracy, gather requirements, run UAT and build dashboards together with IT.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, identify process gaps, drive improvements and train store and warehouse teams.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, HR, IT and Sales to resolve issues and lead system or project initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain or retail operations, preferably in perfume, cosmetics, fashion or FMCG.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities, with proven stakeholder‑management experience.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/POS systems and building dashboards.
• Inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment expertise.
