Sanctions Manager

About the role

The Sanctions Manager will lead ACE Money Transfer’s compliance efforts to meet global sanctions regulations, including OFAC, UN, EU, and UK requirements. This senior‑level position reports to the MLRO and works closely with senior leadership to provide strategic insight on sanctions‑related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end sanctions screening for customers, transactions, beneficiaries and counterparties.
• Investigate potential sanctions matches, prepare detailed reports and liaise with regulators and law‑enforcement.
• Develop and maintain sanctions compliance frameworks and conduct risk assessments for products, markets and payment flows.
• Monitor emerging sanctions regimes and communicate geopolitical impacts to senior management.
• Design and deliver sanctions compliance training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Maintain dashboards, KPIs and management information reporting for sanctions operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sanctions or compliance programmes in a financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of OFAC, UN, EU, UK HMT and other jurisdictional sanctions regimes.
• Ability to analyse complex data, assess risk and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with regulators, partners and internal stakeholders.
