About the role
We are a leading Managed IT Services provider seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator to join our team. You will manage mixed‑production cloud environments on Azure and AWS, ensuring reliable operations for multiple client sites.
Key responsibilities
- Administer Azure and AWS services (IAM, SSO, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, WAF, etc.) in a production environment.
- Perform day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation and configuration of cloud resources.
- Support on‑premises to cloud migrations and IT transformations.
- Work across several client locations and remotely, collaborating with internal and external teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior‑level cloud administrator or engineer.
- Strong independent work ethic combined with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Technical lead experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Microsoft) are desirable.
Required skills
- AWS administration: SSO, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, WAF, ACM, SMS.
- Microsoft Azure & M365: Entra ID/SSO, RBAC, PIM, Azure VMs, Storage, Functions, Virtual Networks, Azure WAF.
- Container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker.
- File services: NFS, SAMBA, Azure Files, GFS2, NIS/Autofs.
- Automation & version control: Puppet, Git, JIRA, Confluence, PowerShell, Python, Perl, Shell scripting.
- Virtualization platforms: VMware‑ESXi, Hyper‑V, XEN, KVM.
- Storage networking: NAS, SAN, iSCSI, CIFS.
- Monitoring tools: CheckMK, Cacti, PRTG, OSSIM, GANGRILLA.
- Network & protocol knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, LDAP/NIS, SMTP, SNMP.
