Senior Deputy Manager – Costing & Controlling

About the role

The Senior Deputy Manager – Costing & Controlling leads product costing, inventory valuation and cost analysis within a manufacturing environment. You will provide accurate cost information, monitor production expenses and support plant leadership with financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control production costs to drive operational efficiency.
• Develop, maintain and review standard costing structures for products, materials and processes.
• Conduct variance analysis on material, labor and overhead costs and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform standard‑versus‑actual cost analysis and identify key cost drivers.
• Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) costs and ensure accuracy in ERP systems.
• Coordinate physical stock verification, inventory reconciliation and ensure compliant inventory valuation.
• Prepare monthly cost, inventory and management dashboard reports.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, warehouse and finance teams to strengthen cost controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and annual cost planning exercises.

Required profile

• CA/ACCA finalist with an MBA.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and process‑improvement mindset.
