Senior Design Engineer RF/Microwave

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer specialized in RF and Microwave technologies to lead the development of high‑performance circuits and systems. The role involves guiding a team, collaborating with vendors and customers, and ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Development and validation of RF/Microwave circuits
• Detailed design of systems and sub‑circuits such as transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, filters, and multiplexers
• Efficient integration of RF circuitry into mechanical enclosures
• Design and evaluation of product prototypes and engineering samples
• Development of test methods and systems
• Documentation of test results and report writing
• Supporting the transition from prototype designs into production
• Product cost awareness
• Interaction with vendors and customers where appropriate
• Continuous search for new RF solutions and technologies
• Leading role as team lead and training of new team members

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Electronics Engineering with emphasis on RF/Microwave circuit design (MS a plus)
• At least 5 years of experience in RF/Microwave product development (higher experience considered)
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and methodical work approach
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
