Senior Electrical Technician

About the role

The Senior Electrical Technician will work full‑time on‑site in Karak, overseeing and performing electrical installation, maintenance and repair across a variety of construction projects. You will ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications while supporting a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot faults on site.
• Inspect, test and commission electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Guide and mentor less‑experienced technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and contribute to continuous improvement of electrical procedures.

Required profile

• Strong background in electrical maintenance and safe work practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities for complex electrical problems.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to construction.
• Experience with installation, testing and repair of a wide range of electrical equipment.
• Relevant diploma, certification or apprenticeship in electrical technology.
• Proven senior or lead technician experience, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
• Good knowledge of local electrical codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Effective communication and independent work management.
