Senior Executive Audit

About the role

Remit Choice Limited is seeking a Senior Executive Audit to lead and manage the audit function for its operations in Gujranwala, Pakistan. The role involves overseeing the audit universe, conducting comprehensive assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously update the Audit Universe, adding new auditable entities and risk areas.
• Define audit scope, objectives, and boundaries based on risk assessments and departmental SOPs.
• Develop detailed audit plans, timelines, and resource requirements under manager supervision.
• Design and maintain standardized audit programs and checklists for recurring audits.
• Perform audit procedures, including control testing and substantive testing of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Prepare detailed workpapers, documentation, and audit issue trackers.
• Guide and supervise Audit Officers, monitor team performance, and provide feedback.
• Classify findings by risk severity, prepare final audit reports, and follow up on action implementation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Internal Auditor.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse accounting documentation, reports, data flows, and audit observations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software and database management.
• Ability to manipulate large data sets and compile detailed analytical reports.
