Senior Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a growing business with an annual turnover of approximately £10 million. The role will shape financial strategy, oversee budgeting and forecasting, manage cash flow, and support investor relations and fundraising activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance function, preparing monthly management accounts, board reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, treasury, VAT, payroll, pensions and statutory compliance.
• Develop annual budgets, long‑term forecasts and conduct profitability, margin and scenario analysis.
• Prepare investor presentations, financial models, due‑diligence documentation and support fundraising activities.
• Manage financial systems such as Xero, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and Power BI, ensuring strong internal controls and audit compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of accounting and finance experience, including 3–5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Proven experience managing businesses with annual revenues between £5 m and £20 m.
