Senior Manager – Impact & Business Intelligence

About the role

The Senior Manager – Impact & Business Intelligence will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the bank’s impact measurement and reporting framework. Reporting to senior leadership, the role translates complex data into actionable insights that drive financial inclusion, MSME performance and overall sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the impact measurement framework, including indicators, methodologies and data dictionary.
• Lead impact measurement, performance analysis and periodic assessments against baselines, targets and KPIs.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual impact reports, dashboards, scorecards and other analytical outputs for senior management.
• Ensure data governance, quality, accuracy and integrity across all impact‑related information, conducting assessments and coordinating remediation.
• Analyze customer outcomes, portfolio performance and financial inclusion metrics, producing sex‑disaggregated MSME and impact reports.
• Coordinate with business and support functions to collect, validate, reconcile and analyse impact data, ensuring timely submission.
• Develop regulatory, lender, investor and development‑partner impact reports in compliance with reporting requirements.
• Lead the preparation of the Annual Impact Report and maintain a repository of supporting data and documentation.
• Create effective data visualisations, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings clearly.
• Identify trends, gaps and emerging issues, recommending corrective actions and driving continuous improvement.
• Plan, prioritize and deliver impact reporting assignments within agreed timelines while maintaining confidentiality and professional judgment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Development Studies or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Eight to ten years of experience in impact reporting, banking, micro‑finance, MSME finance, business intelligence, data analytics, monitoring & evaluation, sustainability or development finance.
