About the role

VfxPros is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design projects for the oil and gas sector in Karachi. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering high‑quality mechanical solutions while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to detailed production drawings.
• Apply machine design methodologies and create comprehensive product designs.
• Utilize advanced Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools to develop and validate designs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Ensure compliance with oil and gas industry standards and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5‑7 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and communication skills for managing projects and teams.
