Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Manager – Digital Economy Project

About the role

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) is seeking a Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Manager to lead M&E activities for the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), a World Bank‑funded initiative. This contract position will ensure robust tracking of project performance and support evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage the M&E framework for DEEP.
• Develop performance indicators and monitor progress against targets.
• Conduct data collection, analysis and prepare regular reports, dashboards and technical documentation.
• Support evaluation studies and impact assessments.
• Coordinate with project teams, external consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with World Bank reporting standards and project guidelines.
• Identify gaps, risks and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, IT or a related field.
• Significant experience in Monitoring & Evaluation for government or donor‑funded projects.
• Familiarity with digital‑economy initiatives and World Bank procedures.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
