Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will design, deploy, configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity across LAN, WAN, WLAN and data centre environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage network security solutions including next‑generation firewalls, NAT, ACLs and threat‑prevention mechanisms.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers and network management platforms.
• Design, deploy and maintain site‑to‑site IPsec VPNs and remote‑access VPN solutions for branch offices, data centres and remote users.
• Implement dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, inter‑VLAN routing, EtherChannels, link aggregation and redundancy mechanisms.
• Perform firewall policy administration, HA/failover configuration and traffic‑flow analysis.
• Conduct network monitoring, performance optimisation, fault isolation and root‑cause analysis.
• Execute infrastructure migrations, upgrades, backups and change‑management activities with minimal disruption.
• Implement secure network access using RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X and integrate with Active Directory.
• Maintain network security standards through device hardening, firmware management and vulnerability remediation.

Required profile

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP and Fortinet NSE‑4.
• Proven experience with enterprise networking and security technologies.

• IPsec and remote‑access VPN technologies.

• Network redundancy, HA and failover configurations.
• RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X authentication and Active Directory integration.
• Network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
