Senior Recruitment Consultant – US Legal Market

About the role

Carnaby Fox is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its Legal division, focusing on the US attorney market. This candidate‑focused 180‑role requires strong sourcing, networking and headhunting skills to manage high‑calibre legal talent across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and headhunt candidates for US legal positions, from Associates to Partners.
• Build and maintain attorney talent pipelines and strong candidate networks.
• Conduct qualification calls, manage candidate processes from introduction through placement, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Produce market maps, talent insights and competitor analyses to support retained and contingent searches.
• Support senior consultants and directors on key searches, ensuring high levels of organisation and communication.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience, preferably within legal recruitment.
• Experience recruiting attorneys or legal professionals is highly advantageous.
• Strong sourcing and headhunting capability with confident communication skills.
• Organised, proactive, delivery‑focused and comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and direct search techniques is preferred.
