Senior Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to provide hands‑on, full‑cycle accounting support for two North‑American business units. The role combines day‑to‑day transactional work with month‑end close and compliance responsibilities, with a strong focus on IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle accounting for assigned units, including journal entries, account reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Prepare and manage customer billing, reviewing contracts, statements of work and purchase orders.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and maintain complete audit trails.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes and required reporting for CSI.
• Perform detailed balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and related entries.
• Prepare and review revenue recognition checklists and schedules to ensure IFRS 15 compliance.
• Support lease accounting schedules and entries in line with IFRS 16.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting experience with full‑cycle responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and readiness for migration to Dynamics 365.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities across time zones.
