Service Engineer (CIP/COP Chemicals)

About the role

The Service Engineer (CIP/COP Chemicals) is responsible for implementing and maintaining cleaning and sanitation programs on food-processing equipment at customer sites. The role involves hands-on installation, calibration, and monitoring of chemical dosing systems, as well as providing technical support and training to ensure food-safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute CIP/COP cleaning programs for process lines, tanks, UHT, pasteurizers and packaging equipment.
• Install, calibrate and monitor chemical dosing systems and CIP skids.
• Perform water-quality, rinse-water and surface-hygiene testing.
• Support hotels, restaurants and QSRs with hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Train customer teams on chemical handling, dilution, PPE and hygiene practices.
• Troubleshoot cleaning issues such as scale, bio-film, milk stone, fouling and poor rinsing.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety and audit standards (NSF, PFA, PSQCA, SFA, QSR).
• Maintain service reports, CIP logs and chemical-consumption data.
• Assist the sales team with trials and new product applications.
• Manage chemical inventory at customer sites and travel frequently as required.

Required profile

• Degree in DAE, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 1–3 years of experience in CIP/COP operations or QSR hygiene.
• Valid driving licence.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site.
