Showroom Salesman

About the role

Almusawwir, a specialist in plywood, custom furniture and full interior solutions, is looking for a dynamic Showroom Salesman to welcome visitors, understand their needs and turn walk‑in interest into sales. The role combines product expertise with strong customer service in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist showroom visitors, identify their requirements and present suitable plywood, furniture and interior solutions.
• Provide detailed product information including materials, finishes, sizes, pricing and lead times.
• Demonstrate samples, catalogs and design options, coordinating with designers for custom projects.
• Prepare accurate quotations, process orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery and installation.
• Maintain attractive product displays and keep the showroom inventory of samples and literature stocked.
• Achieve individual and showroom sales targets through proactive engagement and upselling of value‑added services.
• Collaborate with production, logistics and installation teams to resolve order issues and track deliveries.

Required profile

• Proven showroom or retail sales experience, preferably 1‑2 years in furniture, interiors or building‑materials sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for face‑to‑face customer engagement.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to read simple measurements and discuss customization requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Basic quotation, billing and order‑processing capabilities.
