Skilled MIG Welder

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MIG welder to join our fabrication team at HIT Bicycle in Lahore. The role involves producing high‑quality welded bicycle components for both domestic and export markets, ensuring strict dimensional and visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate GMAW (MIG) equipment, fixtures and materials according to job drawings and work orders.
• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum frames and components, including tack, stitch, fillet and butt joints.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, tolerances and welding symbols; follow approved weld procedures.
• Carry out dimensional checks, visual inspections and basic dye‑penetrant NDT.
• Maintain welding equipment through cleaning, nozzle replacement and wire‑feed adjustments, reporting any defects.
• Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE and handle shielding gases and consumables safely.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of practical MIG (GMAW) welding experience in a production environment.
• Experience with steel and aluminum thin‑wall tubular assemblies, preferably bicycle frames.
• Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Basic knowledge of NDT methods such as visual inspection and dye penetrant testing.
• Understanding of workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
