Social Media & Business Development Manager (Education Consultancy)

About the role

An educational consultancy is looking for a Business Development & Social Media Manager to work remotely, with Pakistan preferred. Working hours are 6-7 hours per day Monday to Friday and 3 hours on Saturday. The role combines prospect outreach, appointment setting and partner onboarding with social media content creation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• LinkedIn and email outreach to prospects, appointment setting and attending meetings to pitch the referral programme.
• Partner onboarding, account management and creating offers and incentives to drive partner referrals.
• Create reels, static images and carousels for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, keeping content light, humorous and relevant to a Gen Z audience.
• Improve branding, page visibility and monthly metrics such as views, followers, interactions and engagement.
• Run interactive polls, stay up to date with social media trends and build a loyal, long-term community.
• Handle regular administrative duties, such as filling university application forms for clients; UK university admission experience is highly advantageous.

Required profile

• Practical experience managing social media accounts and planning content calendars.
• Strong written communication and content creation skills, able to make education-related information clear and engaging.
• Understanding of social media campaign planning, audience engagement, lead generation and performance metrics.
• Business development capability: identifying opportunities, building professional relationships and following up prospective leads.
• Confident communication with prospective students and other stakeholders across digital channels.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns, enquiries and deadlines.
• Interest and experience in international education and the UK university admissions journey.

Required skills

• Comfort using social media management and analytics tools, spreadsheets and customer or lead-tracking systems.
• Application of the above to the UK university admissions process.
