Social Media Specialist

About the role

A research-driven, strategic Social Media Specialist is sought in Lahore to build and execute effective social media strategies. The role goes beyond posting: it covers audience research, trend and competitor analysis, and strategy development supporting brand awareness, audience growth, thought leadership, engagement and business objectives. The specialist works closely with content writers, designers, video editors and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies, including monthly and quarterly content calendars and platform-specific plans for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube and others
• Research industry trends, competitors, B2B brands, founders and creators; analyse high-performing content and define content pillars and themes
• Understand target audiences, their pain points and content preferences, and spot trending conversations
• Write content briefs and guide writers, designers and video editors on concepts, tone, format and objectives
• Support founder-led, employee-led and educational content, carousels, case studies and product-focused pieces
• Build a consistent brand presence and position the brand and its leadership as credible voices
• Monitor metrics such as reach, engagement, growth, clicks and conversions, test formats and topics, and prepare regular performance reports

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, content strategy or digital marketing
• Proven track record of building strategies and content calendars
• Experience working with writers, graphic designers and video editors
• Preferred: experience in technology, SaaS, AI, software or digital services

Required skills

• Strong understanding of B2B social media marketing for international audiences
• Excellent understanding of LinkedIn and other major platforms
• Competitor analysis and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and strategic thinking skills
