Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join our QA team. This three‑month, full‑time internship offers fresh graduates or final‑year students hands‑on experience testing web and mobile applications in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug‑tracking tools.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, and usability testing.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and QA review meetings.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and testing reports.
• Learn QA best practices, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (completed or final semester) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Jira, ClickUp, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
