Tax Executive

About the role

The Tax Executive will manage the preparation and filing of income and sales tax returns for the organization, ensuring compliance with Pakistani tax regulations. This role involves close interaction with tax authorities and internal stakeholders to resolve notices and optimize tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file annual income tax returns and monthly sales tax returns for PRA, SRB, KPK, BRA, and FBR.
• Calculate and remit advance tax on a quarterly basis.
• Handle and respond to tax notices (e.g., 122, 137, 147, 121, 177) from various tax authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants and tax authorities to address compliance issues.
• Provide analytical support with a strong focus on detail orientation.

Required profile

• CA (Inter) with completed articles, or ACCA/CMA finalist, or MBA/M.Com with relevant tax experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in tax compliance and notice handling.
• Strong leadership and personnel management abilities.

Required skills

• Tax computation and filing.
• Knowledge of Pakistani tax laws and regulations.
• Experience dealing with tax notices from PRA, SRB, KPK, BRA, and FBR.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.
