About the role
The Team Lead Production works closely with the shift floor labor supervisor to ensure labor and material are present on production lines, driving performance and safety while meeting production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure availability of material on production lines and monitor inventory against target levels.
- Manage the scheduling and availability of packers/helpers (approximately 90 personnel) and issue duty rosters.
- Monitor and deliver line and material efficiencies in line with DLS scorecard requirements.
- Act as a credible advocate for PepsiCo behaviors and new ways of working.
- Lead occupational health and safety (OHS) action planning for frontline associates.
- Drive frontline engagement by executing items from the site engagement calendar.
- Collaborate with the Front Line Manager to maintain industrial peace during shift operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, MTS, or Chemical disciplines.
- Experience in plant production operations and line management.
