Technical Service Specialist

About the role

The Technical Service Specialist works in the Core Diagnostics division in Islamabad. The role covers planned maintenance, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs), backup first-line Level 1 service, and support for installations and deinstallations. Success is measured by customer satisfaction (NPS), service KPIs and district profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line service to customers, including service interventions that may take less than 4 hours of labour
• Schedule and perform planned and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM)
• Schedule, perform and document hardware and software updates (TSBs)
• Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations
• Travel within the service area

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably BE/ME in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering
• At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar field
• Proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references
• Experience engaging with customers, especially lab staff
• Technical expert for a product line, able to identify and drive resolution of issues

• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and database management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
