Telecom & Installations Manager (Manager TI)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Telecom & Installations Manager (Manager TI) to lead end‑to‑end delivery of telecom and power infrastructure projects. The role bridges technical engineering with field operations, ensuring hardware, integration, testing & commissioning, and cabling are installed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with customers to capture project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using MS Project.
• Negotiate contracts and SLAs with vendors, coordinate material and service delivery.
• Oversee project execution, conduct site visits, and perform quality inspections.
• Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Prepare regular status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and records.
• Lead direct reportees and field teams, ensuring effective utilization.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and proactively manage risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience, preferably with Tier‑1/Tier‑2 telecom vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven ability to develop performance metrics and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
