Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a global leader in the telecom industry on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining VoIP, SIP, and PSTN networks for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize telecommunications networks, including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN systems.
• Integrate telecom solutions with existing IT infrastructure in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and resolve incidents to ensure high reliability.
• Configure and manage telecom hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways.
• Document configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non‑technical teams.
